When you are critically analyzing hundreds of hours of porn as we do at XCritic, there are inevitable questions like "Who the hell is this girl in this random Russian porn production?" or "Have I seen this scene before, it seems familiar?". Now, our first reaction is to ask other XCritic team members those questions and often that gives us an immediate answer but sometimes we just don't know who the unnamed dude with a dragon tat on his thigh is and we like to give our readers as much information about a film/scene as we can so we turn to another team for help. That team is IAFD - the Internet Adult Film Database. That team tracks an unbelievably enormous amount of data on performers, directors, scenes, and films. They've been doing it seemingly forever and there are a lot of tools to help us find an answer. How many films has Brandi Love been in? Angela White? Manuel Ferrara? They have a pretty accurate tally of all of that stored in what must be a massive database. For that, I think we should recognize them. I know it's not just XCritic members that turn to them for answers but the public at large also do. If you aren't aware of this resource, you should be. It's an invaluable tool if you ever wonder who "that hot blonde chick" is in an uncredited film you might be watching. Will it answer ALL of your questions? No, but it's pretty darn good at what it is. It's a cool site. @morbidthoughts has some great industry pictures from events and @Gabriel_Lan is in charge of The Spank Bank Awards every year. There's a ton of people that contribute to their efforts, too many to list here but we urge you to go bookmark that site! It's a good place to go if you are a porn aficionado. (...)
